As a Forward Deployed Engineer you bring our first clients' projects into AUVY. Every gap you find on the way you close in the product, so the next firm starts without manual work.

The work

You connect a client project's mailbox, calendar and files to AUVY, with only the access the project needs.
You check the weekly brief line by line against its source.
When something is missing, you find out why with logs, API calls and SQL, and fix it in TypeScript with a test.
From all of that you write the runbook the next firm starts with, without you.

The first 90 days

Day 30: your development setup runs and you have fixed a first bug with a test.
Day 60: you have checked a real project's weekly brief for four weeks.
Day 90: a second firm starts with your runbook.

What we look for

You are enrolled and can work 15 to 20 hours a week during the semester
You have built something in TypeScript or Python and can read, change and test a small program; a university or side project counts
You know HTTP and JSON, basic SQL and Git, and can narrow a fault down to the record that is wrong
You read German project mail and can tell what was agreed from what someone only asked
You write your steps down so someone else can repeat them
You handle client data and access with care and check what AI tools write before you use it

Nice to have:

You work with English technical documentation
First experience with API integrations, automated tests or checking model output against a reference
You can explain to a project lead what works and where the limit is, without pitching

What we offer
